Buying prescription glasses on the web is truly marvelous experience. I truly believe that prescription glasses are not for vision correction but it needs to be in fashion. Cheap prescription glasses are readily available and the reason why they are called such is not because they are of low quality. This just tells us that buying online really allows you to buy things at a cheaper rate because you get the cheap prescription glasses directly from the manufacturer. It saves you time and therefore it is more convenient. This is the reason why prescription glasses are now offered in different styles, shades and colors.
It is important for me and I require that prescription glasses are not only in excellent quality but they need to be very durable and innovative. Since there are three types of frame styles to choose from, I need to choose one that I really like. They have full-rim frames, Semi-rimless frames and Rimless, that is, frameless eyeglasses. Choosing your own type would show who you are and your personality. Since I am already in the aging group, I chose the semi-rimless Eyeglasses. Semi-rimless eyeglasses cover only half of the lenses. Indeed, you find it an in-between full-frame and frameless. It is designed to have a plastic line which holds the lenses to the rim and the bridge becomes the connection of the half frame which includes the two lenses. It is a combination of quality, refinement, elegance and style.

Glasses, contacts, or surgery. These are the usual choices offered to those of us with bad vision. Orlin Sorensen, though, needed an alternative. A commercial airline pilot who found himself in jeopardy of being downsized after the 9/11 tragedies, Sorensen decided to go for broke and pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a Navy fighter pilot. The only catch was that Navy fighter candidates were required to have near-perfect, uncorrected vision — no surgery allowed.
As for so many who seek different medical options, it was word of mouth that led Sorensen down a different path: a fellow pilot suggested eye exercises to naturally correct vision. Turns out, the exercises weren’t so much the “road not taken” as the “road not taken in a while.” Sorensen’s research revealed that natural vision training, in fact, had been around for almost a century.

As the development of the first contact lens came about in the 1950′s, people who needed correction eye wear never thought that technology and the creation of the first soft lens would be the beginning of visual freedom for America and the world!
Imagine the days when you had no choices, and all that was available were framed eyeglasses. Now some people still prefer this option, but it’s nice to know that technology has provided people who don’t like to wear glasses the freedom of expression with a variety of lens options. The turning point for contact lenses was back in the 90′s when the FDA approved the use of the cosmetic version of soft lenses, and also daily disposable contacts were introduced, which caused the lens vision market to change significantly!
